NEWS
Operation Barnabas
Excellent meal of Beef Stroganoff, Green Beans, Roll, Salad and Pie Alamode put on by the members of Operation Barnabas. There will also be a raffle for two hand forged knives with scabbards. Meal is $8.00 per person and raffle tickets are $2.00 per ticket. Everyone, Veteran or Veteran supporters are welcome,
MEETINGS
Meetings of Chapter 798 will be held at the American Legion Post #2 for the near future. The Post needs help keeping the bar open, so any help you can give by buying food or drink would be appreciated. The meetings are: Board of Directors meeting is on the third Thursday of every month at 1800 hrs. The regular meeting will be held immediately after the Board meeting at 1830 hrs. We hope to see you there.
V.V.A. State Council
IASC meeting to be held at the Paralyzed Veterans of America office located at 7025 Hickman Road, Urbandale (Des Moines), IA. The next meeting will be December 8, 2018, weather permitting.
PIONEER GUN SHOW
The November/December show is one of the largest shows in the Midwest. It will offer GUNS, Knives Ammo, and accessories All proceeds from the gun raffle at the show goes to help Veterans in the Council Bluffs area. Please attend and help your fellow Veterans by buying a raffle ticket
