History

About Vietnam Veterans of America

Founded in 1978, Vietnam Veterans of America is the only national Vietnam Veterans organization congressionally chartered and exclusively dedicated to Vietnam-era veterans and their families.

VVA's goals are to promote and support the full range of issues important to Vietnam veterans, to create a new identity for this generation of veterans, and to change public perception of Vietnam veterans.

VVA is organized as a not-for-profit corporation and is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(19) of the Internal Revenue Service Code.

VVA is a non-profit service organization. Programs and services are funded by member dues and public donations. For more information on Vietnam Veterans of America visit www.vva.org.

VVA Chapter 798 Information

Phillip H. Grego Chapter 798, Vietnam Veterans of America, was founded in 1988 and has an active membership of about 70 members and has an associate's membership of about 15 members.
